The West Bank Tour is a guided tour and takes you to three highlights of the region – Bethlehem, Jericho and Ramallah. The tour gives you insights into the history and culture of this fascinating region. You will visit important historical and religious sites as well as natural beauty and modern culture.
From Jerusalem, we first head to Qasr-el-Yahud, the ancient baptismal site of Jesus on the banks of the Jordan River, before stopping in Jericho, the oldest city in the world.
In addition to the historical sites, we will also visit the Mount of Temptation and view it from below. It was on this mountain that the biblical story of the victory over the devil took place.
We will then explore Ramallah, the modern, vibrant and cultural capital of the West Bank. During a walk through the city , Arafat’s tomb can be visited before continuing to the birthplace of Jesus, Bethlehem.
At the last stop, Bethlehem, we will visit the holy sites of the city, including the Church of the Nativity, the colourful market walk the separation wall that cuts through the city and the colourful contributions of the famous graffiti artist Banksy. The tour ends with the return journey to Jerusalem.
The tour offers the opportunity to experience different facets of an extraordinary region, cover a range of places and topics, and meet people in a way that is difficult for solo travelers.
